Yesterday I had a rest day from the gym as my body felt so weak & I felt generally shattered. I think it was a combination of a heavy legday on Monday, & not eating enough Tuesday (I was running around a lot). Remember rest & eating properly is just as important as exercise! You need to let your body (& mind) recover, refuel & get stronger so you can get back to it with full force when you're ready. Feeling a lot more alive today for it & ready to take on another busy day 👊

Whatever you do, don’t skip breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day.Your metabolism slows during sleep to conserve energy and needs #fuel to restart the engine. The sooner you feed your body for the day ahead, the better.
The ideal time for #breakfast is within an hour of waking. You are much more likely to over eat later in the day if you don’t have something within the first hours of daily activity.
