How's your Friday night going? Make it better by eating this ✨ENTIRE✨ jar of (nut free) butter! Yes, I said it. Eat it ALL. 🙌🏼 I just made this in my stories (who saw it?) Spread it. Dip it. Use in sandwiches, smoothies, or just with a plain ol' spoon. 🥄 Happy Friday yo!
1, 15 oz. can organic chickpeas, drined & rinsed
2 Tbsp Organic @sunbutter
1/2 cup water or more
Sea salt to taste (I used about 1 tsp)
✏️Blend chickpeas, @sunbutter, and 1/2 cup water in a food processor or high speed blender (I used my @blendtec Twister Jar) until smooth. ✏️Add additional water until you get your desired consistency.
✏️Add sea salt to taste. *If your nut/seed butter contains salt, you may not need to add any. I used @sunbutter's organic version and there's no salt in that.
Optional add-ins: (all "to taste")
• Raw honey
• Vanilla bean
• Chocolate chips
• Coconut flakes

So apparently we (my #muscles 💪🏽 and I) have been #bulking this month. I didn't agree to this, but my obsessive nut-butter 🥜 and #granola addiction took control of the situation. While I don't LOVE that my tummy and hips have a bit more squish than usual, I am enjoying the extra oomph in my #legs, #booty #🍑 and #biceps. So the other day I made this amazing Sweet N' Salty Coconut Pecan Butter, and it's so delicious, I had to share the recipe. Like I seriously just keep eating this stuff out of the jar 😳 It was originally going to be just coconut butter, but I didn't have enough coconut, and boy I'm glad I didn't because I think the pecans are the perfect addition. It's lightly sweetened with some @omg_superfoods coconut sugar, which they sent me to try, and it has just a hint of salt as well. Plus it only took like 10 minutes, so yay. Recipe will be posted below!
•1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
•1 cup chopped pecans
•1Tbs @omg_superfoods coconut sugar
•1/8tsp sea salt
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Place coconut flakes and pecans onto a baking sheet and bake until the coconut is golden brown (time will vary). Place the roasted coconut/pecan into a small food processor along with the coconut sugar and salt. Process until everything is well combined and it reaches a nut butter consistency (5-10 minutes depending on the strength of your food processor). Pour the butter into a small mason jar and seal with a lid. Store at room temperature for up to 5 days. Or store in the fridge for a longer shelf life. Enjoy!!!
