What do you mean you're sad?
Of course it's over, what did you think was going to happen...
Okay, so it's a real steep learning curve, that we need to understand that everything in life comes to an end is something that requires every ounce of our minds to fully comprehend.
Sometimes it's easier, like watching flowers as they slowly start to bloom. Their petals opening up and then folding back. THe colours are incredible and they lift the entire space they are found in. Insects appear, some of the smells are amazing and birds pass by. They brighten everything up, and yet as soon as they have bloomed they are gone.
The petal brown and dead. The stem withered and old. These we accept as part of life and enjoy them for the moment.
Never again with that same flower on that same stem on that same branch on that same day appear again. It's gone, past and done...
You were there, you experiences that process and that flower all for yourself you enjoyed it and told others about it. You were part of the enjoyment of that amazing event.
Are you unhappy it's over? Of course not, we eagerly await in anticipation for another experience just like that and though it will not be identical it will result in a new wonderful interaction with our world.
So to do things in this life blossom and end. This is normal but be happy you were there. You had that time and that excitement. You wouldn't have missed it for the world and better yet - It was you who felt every moment.
I am happy for I am alive to experience all that this world has to offer.
